On the fourth day Martin swam 59 kilometers from Ferlach to Lavamund. There was only one hydroelectric power station as an obstacle on the Austrian side.
Today Martin was struggling with the biggest, 22 kilometers long and many kilometers wide lake Volkermarkter Strausse. Water temperature raised a little bit, but this time the burning sun caused Martin and both kayakers quit a few problems with burns on the face and hands.
A little before 2 pm on Friday Martin will approach swimming Dravograd in Slovenia.
From hydroelectric power plant in Dravograd on, many kayakers and lumber rafts will escort Martin down the river. Martin will also make one stop on the left bank near by fishing home. At 5 in the afternoon he will be in Vuzenica and 5.45 in a small town Muta. Martin will be finishing the swimming for that day around 7 in the evening in Vuhred.
